    Spiked Strawberry Lemon Punch

With Memorial Day and 4th of July parties right around the corner, one must have a festive cocktail to celebrate. This Strawberry Lemon Punch is fun, delicious, and easy to make!

    Spiked Strawberry Lemon Punch

Years ago I worked at a company where the owner was from Sweden. Every year he would host an amazing Crawfish party with jars and jars of infused vodka. His vodka of choice-SVEDKA. This Swedish vodka is five times distilled from Swedish Winter Wheat. SVEDKA vodka has been making its mark since it was first imported in 1998 and is now the #1 imported vodka in the US (Source: Adams 2015).

Anyway, ever since attending his parties, I have been infusing vodka too. It is a great way to get extra natural flavor into the drink. I have done everything from fresh blueberries, to cherries, to rosemary and bacon for Bloody Mary's! It is really easy and only takes about a day to absorb the flavor.

For this recipe, I muddled about a pound of strawberries in a large jar filled with vodka. I also made a blueberry batch. I then placed it in the fridge overnight. The next day, right before serving, I pureed some extra strawberries, lemon juice, and sugar, added the strawberry infused vodka (and infused berries) and finished it off with some lemon club soda, mint, and ice. It was super refreshing and full of summer flavor.

I also made another batch with the blueberry infused vodka, for a Blueberry Lemon Punch version. Both versions were so delicious and perfect for a Memorial Day party! The best part is that you can actually use the SVEDKA bottle as decoration with it's sleek red, white, and blue design.

Not only is there a $2 off neck hanger coupon that is available in-store, but if you use the Shopkick App you can earn 75 kicks for scanning the UPC at shelf and 200 kicks for purchasing SVEDKA. If you don't use Shopkick, you need to start now! It's a great way to save money and super user friendly.

My favorite is Smirnoff Raspberry vodka ditch splashed with cranberry juice and lemonade. We added a half shot of watermelon vodka to this. Amazing.
