Indian Spiced Ground Beef
A meal that is quick and easy and will send your tastebuds traveling!

Ingredients
  • I tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 medium onion , diced
  • 4 cloves garlic , finely chopped
  • ½ teaspoon fresh ginger , peeled and finely chopped
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt and pepper
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro , chopped
  • Cooked Rice for serving
Instructions
  1. In a large skillet, heat oil on medium high heat.
  2. Add onions and garlic and cook until translucent.
  3. Add ginger to the pan.
  4. Add ground beef, breaking up lumps with a spoon.
  5. Sprinkle all spices on the meat and gently turn to incorporate.
  6. Cook meat until no longer pink.
  7. Pour peas into pan and stir to combine. Continue to cook on medium low heat until peas are warm, about 5 minutes.
  8. Serve over rice and sprinkle with cilantro.
