These lavender-infused shortbread cookies are full of flavor.

  • 1 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried lavender
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Beat butter and sugar together until light and creamy.
  3. Beat in flour and lavender until just combined.
  4. Between 2 pieces of parchment paper roll out dough into a rectangle, about 1/2 thick.
  5. Slice dough into 2x1 inch rectangles.

  6. Place on cookie sheet 2 inches a part.
  7. Pierce each cookie with a fork a few times.
  8. Bake cookies for 8-10 minutes or until edges are slightly golden.
  9. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week.
