Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line 1 cupcake tin with cupcake liners.

In the bowl of your mixer or a large bowl, combine melted butter and sugar and mix on medium speed for about 2 minutes.

In a separate bowl combine flour, baking soda and salt.

Add egg to sugar/butter mixture and beat until incorporated.

Add vanilla and beer and mix.

Gradually add flour mixture to wet mixture mixing until just combined. Do not over mix.

Fill liners ⅔ of a way full.

Place in preheated oven and bake for 15-18 minutes or until a knife is inserted and when removed is clean.
