Cotton Candy Glitter Bomb
Cotton Candy Cocktail
  • 2 oz Whipped Cream Vodka
  • 6 oz Ginger ale
  • ½ oz Cotton Candy for garnish
Instructions
Cotton Candy Glitter Bomb
  1. Take 1⁄2 oz (or a palm-sized amount) of cotton candy and spread the fibers until it lays flat.
  2. Place Pink Luster Dust in the center and wrap edges around to form a ball.
  3. Apply even pressure and roll the ball in your hands until packed tightly, and approx. 1-2 inches in size.
  4. Store in a cool dry place until ready to use.
Cotton Candy Cocktail
  1. Start by adding 2 oz of Vodka to your champagne flute.
  2. Add 6 oz of ginger ale (or fill until 2 inches away from the top of the glass).
  3. Drop the Cotton Candy Glitter Bomb into the flute. Once the carbonation has dissipated, stir with a straw to distribute pigment.
  4. Garnish with another tuft of Cotton Candy on a cocktail pick.
  5. Stir and enjoy!
Recipe Notes
  1. When handling Cotton Candy, it's important to have clean dry hands. Any moisture from your hands will begin to melt the candy.
  2. Make the Cotton Candy Glitter Bombs ahead of time! They will last in a cool dry location up to 30 minutes before serving. Cotton Candy is a delicate spun sugar candy. If left out for longer than 30 minutes, Cotton Candy may begin to melt due to exposure. Conditions with high humidity and temperature will last an even shorter amount of time.
  3. When filling your champagne flute, it's important to not fill to the top of the glass. Leave approximately 2 inches of empty space at the top of your glass for your Cotton Candy garnish to sit. Cotton Candy will dissolve immediately when coming into contact with liquid.
  4. When assembling your Cotton Candy Glitter Bomb: Your Cotton Candy may crack due to the pressure of your hands. Simply add an extra layer of Cotton Candy fibers over the crack and press down the edges gently. Make sure to form the ball smaller than your champagne flute opening. You don’t want to make your Cotton Candy Glitter Bomb too big to fit!
  5. Do not use regular glitter- this is unfit for consumption and not safe. Only use food-grade Luster Dust!
