Ingredients
  • 4 long and skinny potatoes skin peeled and thinly sliced
  • 1 ⁄4 cup of butter melted
  • 15 leaves of sage thinly chopped
  • 1 teaspoon of onion powder
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons of Gruyere cheese grated
  • 1 tablespoon of Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley to garnish optional
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. Grease 12 muffin cavities.
  2. In a medium bowl add melted butter, seasonings, and cheese together and mix.
  3. In a large bowl, add in sliced potatoes and toss in butter mixture and mix to coat potatoes.
  4. To the muffin cavities add an even layer of potatoes throughout each cavity.
  5. Bake potato stacks for 45 minutes on the middle rack.
  6. Remove from oven, garnish with parsley and additional grated cheese if desired. Let sit for 3-4 minutes before removing potato stacks. Serve.
