A delicious dinner that serves a crowd and perfect for outdoor parties

Ingredients
  • 15 pounds Live, Fresh Crawfish
  • 3 heads garlic unpeeled
  • 4 whole onions sliced coarsely
  • 1 pound dry seafood boil mixture
  • 8 raw corn on the cob broken in half
  • 16 red potatoes, washed
  • 2 pounds shrimp optional
  • 2 cups Creole Seasoning
Instructions
  1. Fill a very large pot about ½ full with water. Add the garlic, onions, dry seafood boil seasonings, salt, corn and potatoes. 

  2. Bring to a boil over high heat, then reduce to a simmer, and cook for 20 minutes.
  3. Add the crawfish and shrimp, return mixture to boil, then simmer until the crawfish shells turn bright red and the tails pull out easily, about 5 minutes. 

  4. Remove pan from heat and let everything soak for 20 minutes. 

  5. Drain contents, sprinkle with creole seasoning and serve hot.
